This program is intended for defense attorneys in criminal and family court practice and other members of the defense team, including investigators, paralegals, parent advocates, social workers, and mitigation specialists. 

The solicitation, marketing, or sale of commercial services or products at the conference is not authorized. NYSDA reserves the right to cancel a registration in its discretion, and violation of this policy at the conference site may result in expulsion without a refund of registration fees.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing over email to training@nysda.org. 
• Cancellation requests received before EOD on July 10, 2026, will receive a full refund.
• Cancellation requests received after July 10, 2026, are not eligible for a refund.
• No-shows will be charged.
• For offices registering multiple employees, substitutions are welcome. If a registered participant cannot attend, the office may substitute another staff member by emailing us before EOD on Friday, July 24, 2026.
• Extraordinary circumstances: exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at training@nysda.org for assistance.
