Registration Fee: $150/Person


A discounted fee of $125 is available to offices registering 3 or more attendees.


Lunch and cocktail reception refreshments on Thursday, as well as breakfast and lunch on Friday will be included. Free parking is provided for all attendees.


Tuition assistance for financial hardship is available.

This program is intended for defense attorneys in criminal and family court practice and other members of the defense team, including investigators, paralegals, parent advocates, social workers, and mitigation specialists. 



NYSDA reserves the right to cancel and refund registrations submitted by individuals who are not part of the public defense community.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing over email to training@nysda.org
  • Cancellation requests received before EOD on January 29th, 2026, will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellation requests received after January 29th, 2026, are not eligible for a refund.
  • No-shows will be charged.
  • For offices registering multiple employees, substitutions are welcome. If a registered participant cannot attend, the office may substitute another staff member by emailing us before EOD on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
  • Extraordinary circumstances: exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at training@nysda.org for assistance.
