Defender Practice Skills Program Comparable to Law Enforcement Academy National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Training*.

Attendance at all sessions required; no partial credit awarded.

Cost:

$400/Person

Tuition assistance for financial hardship is available.

Breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks included.

Eligibility

Participants must have completed a program comparable to the basic NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) program to attend this program.

Cancellation Policy:

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to training@nysda.org
  • Cancellation requests received before EOD on September 7 are fully refundable. 
  • Cancellation requests received between September 8 and September 14 will be charged an admin. fee.
  • Cancellation requests received after September 14 will not be refunded. No-shows will be charged.
