This one-day in-person training will feature some of the most experienced, brilliant litigators in the digital evidence space. The sessions will cover the most recent developments in geolocation data, device and account searches, and lessons from State v. Pickett to prepare you to utilize discovery litigation for optimal case outcomes and successfully litigate source code whether you are litigating DNA evidence or digital evidence. The program will finish with a panel where we tie the topics of the day together and answer the audience’s questions from throughout the day in a conversational format.

The registration fee is $40 (waived for students, tuition assistance for financial hardship is available).

This program is intended for defense attorneys in criminal and family court practice and other members of the defense team, including investigators, paralegals, social workers, parent advocates, and mitigation specialists.

Up to 6 CLE Credits

NYSDA has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of Continuing Legal Education in the State of New York (2022–2025) in traditional and nontraditional formats. This transitional/nontransitional program has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the Continuing Legal Education Board for a maximum of 6.0 credit hours. No CLE credit may be earned for repeat attendance at any accredited CLE activity.
