NYSDA is the largest criminal & family defense bar association in New York State, and one of the first statewide defense organizations in the country. Membership is not just for lawyers, it is open to people in the public defense client community, defense team members (including investigators, social workers, sentencing mitigation specialists, paralegals, parent advocates, and legal assistants), and others committed to improving the quality of publicly supported criminal and family court defense.
