Coronavirus 2020

In an effort to keep public defenders up to date on the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on the state court system, criminal and family law representation, jails and prisons, child protective services, and related matters, NYSDA has set up this page. The page is being updated on a regular basis. Defender Resources, information for Efforts to Secure Release, Virtual Court Appearances, and Websites to Check Regularly for new developments relevant to defense work can be found in the drop-down "More in this Section" area above.
